This term was originally attached to gaming smartphones because it would support the movement of users in playing games to be smoother. Over time, the refresh rate is also highlighted on smartphones in various categories, both flagship, middle and entry level. In addition to refresh rate , another term that is popular in the smartphone world is touch sampling rate . Both are related to the smartphone display.
Touch sampling rate is the ability of the display or screen to read input (touch) in one second. Sometimes the touch sampling rate is also referred to as the screen response rate. The faster the touch sampling rate on a device, the more sensitive the screen is in reading commands.Refresh rate is a specification on the panel component that measures how often a frame (image) on the screen is updated (refreshed) every second. Simply put, a 60 Hz screen is capable of displaying 60 images every second, as are 90 Hz and 120 Hz screens, which are capable of displaying 90 and 120 frames per second, respectively.
